ULI Toronto: WLI Reset Symposium - MetaVision

Take ten minutes to answer 5 MetaVision questions that help map our collective dream for a more inclusive future. All responses are anonymized.
Don’t think too hard and be as detailed and vivid as possible as you express your feelings.

Registration is not required for this portion, and responses are anonymous. Send us your thoughts and share with your network. We want as many points of view as possible.

MetaVisioning
MetaVisioning is a process that positions any decisions or actions you take in the global historical context. It links our narrative about what we see and feel is happening in the world, to our narrative about what is happening in our community, and place of work. It reveals the potential impact you can have beyond what appears to be your sphere of influence.

MetaVisioning deliberately avoids a problem-solving approach.

When we focus on problems they tend to loom larger, occupy more and more of our head space and become the reality we inhabit and tend to become more fixed the more we try to fix them. Many problems are caused by solutions to other problems and are often narrowly focused. MetaVisioning works with the idea of dream realisation, and the holistic context of the whole system.

Reset Symposium’s facilitators at CreativeConnection will curate our responses into a visual summary which will be shared with all participants and the ULI Toronto network.  In the visual summaries of these out-of-the-box ideas we will have created a realm of exciting scenarios. Not all of them will be feasible or even desirable, but they will have stretched our imaginations to new levels.

We will use the visualized summaries to guide us towards the adoption of a visionary transformative strategy with a resilient commitment to its implementation
